The heartbeat of an
event like the Native Rhythms Festival
is possible because of the activities of the many volunteers who
are needed to make it all happen in a smooth and organized
manner.
To distribute the load among our volunteers, time will be scheduled in discrete blocks of time each day. Volunteers
will be needed for specific tasks, such as manning the "official" tent, handling merchandise sales, or
supporting vendors when they need something (or to take a break), and for general support as the events of the day
demand. In most cases no special skills are required. In addition to the three days of the event (Friday Nov. 8 thru
Sunday Nov. 10), additional help will be appreciated on Thursday (Nov 7) during the venue setup
We have some vendors who travel considerable distances alone to set up and operate their booths at Native Rhythms.
Help in setting up tents, tables, setting out merchandise, etc. on Thursday and then tearing it all down and packing
it up on Sunday is especially appreciated. If this is an area in which you are especially interested, include that in
your e-mail to our acting volunteer coordinator, Claire Ellis.
If you are local to Brevard County or plan to visit us for this event and would like to volunteer some of your time to
help make this event a success, send an e-mail message to Claire as well.
